Established in 1991, the South Carolina Aviation Association Hall of Fame honors pioneers and leaders in the aviation industry who have made significant contributions to the development, advancement or promotion of aviation and have close ties to the State of South Carolina.

During the intervening years, many outstanding aviators have been recognized by their peers and the South Carolina Aviation Association as deserving enshrinement in this prestigious gathering of Eagles.

Each year, at the association's Annual Conference, all members of the Aviation Hall of Fame are recognized and celebrated and the newest inductees are enshrined in a formal ceremony recognizing their accomplishments.

With sincere appreciation to Joseph W. Swearingen, Wilson L. Mills and Russell Maxey whose dedication to preserving
aviation's past has made much of this site possible.
